I just spent the weekend in Portland, Oregon working with another glass artist to create these unique "roll-up" vessels. I fused the blanks with the intricate designs and took them with me on the airplane (can you imagine an 80 pound, glass filled, rolling carry-on?) and met with Joe Doherty and Chris Bogle at Elements Studio in downtown Portland to create these beautiful pieces. This is a very interesting technique that allows glass fusers and blowers to work together to integrate multi-colored geometric shapes into their free formed designs. I think you will agree that these are "surprisingly" unusual one-of-a-kind works of art. Prices do not include shipping & handling.
