Ja9's Inspiration...
I want you to meet some amazing people who make my mission so worthwhile!
When I made the decision to leave my job as the Director and Co-Founder of the Center for Educational Therapy near my hometown in California, I found that I still longed for the interaction with families and children on the Spectrum. Yes, I was having the time of my life working with glass and exploring my art, but I wasn't completely fulfilled until I started connecting with wonderful organizations all over the United States to raise money for their cause and experience amazing events, conferences, walks and other fundraisers that I am so proud to support. Here is just a sampling of the incredible people who inspire me and remind me how lucky I am to be able to create my art to support such a worthwhile cause! |

Meet Ian...

I met Ian and his family at our very first local Walk for Autism. I am amazed by the love and support that extends throughout their entire family. Their team raised lots of money for the center and lots of attention with their hoots and hollers!
When I received a huge hug from Ian to thank me for supporting "Team Ian" I was in tears!

Meet Zach...

Zach's mother not only has time to tend to her own family and Zach's special needs, but she is a strong and active member of our local Autism Spectrum Center. I have spent time with her at walks and work parties hearing all about Zach's antics and his gentle soul. In this photo Zach has just lost his first tooth; he is such a brave young man.

Meet Alden...

Alden has stolen my heart!
I "met" Alden when his mother contacted me about some beautiful artwork that she created. We are working on a new line of Awareness Jewelry inspired by her art and Alden's heart; created in fused glass.
